Deseczka z trybikami w leśnej scenerii / A board with gears in a forest setting
Na dzisiejszą inspirację przygotowałam dekoracyjną deseczkę w klimacie leśnym, z dodatkiem mechanicznych akcentów – trybików oraz połowy zegara. Chciałam połączyć naturę z industrialnym detalem, tworząc spójną, ale nieoczywistą kompozycję.
Pracę rozpoczęłam od zabezpieczenia powierzchni deski, co pozwoliło mi przejść do kolejnego etapu – nałożenia grafiki z papieru ryżowego nr 062. Wybrany motyw dobrze oddaje leśną estetykę i stanowił solidną bazę do dalszej pracy.
Następnie zajęłam się malowaniem drobnych elementów HDF. Długo zastanawiałam się nad paletą kolorów – początkowo wahałam się między szarościami a niebieskościami. W końcu zdecydowałam się na połączenie granatu, czerni i beżu, które razem stworzyły ciekawy efekt. Trybiki i fragment zegara przecierałam wybranymi kolorami, by uzyskać lekko postarzany wygląd i podkreślić ich strukturę.
Jeszcze przed przyklejeniem wszystkich dekoracyjnych elementów, przetarłam deskę beżową farbą oraz pastą vintage, co pozwoliło całości nadać spójny charakter i uwydatnić detale.

For today’s inspiration, I created a decorative board with a forest theme, complemented by mechanical accents – gears and half of a clock face. I wanted to combine elements of nature with an industrial touch to form a cohesive yet unexpected composition.
I started the project by sealing the surface of the board, which allowed me to move on to the next step – applying a design using rice paper no. 062. The chosen motif reflects the forest aesthetic well and served as a solid foundation for the rest of the work.
Next, I focused on painting small HDF elements. I spent some time considering the color palette – at first, I was torn between shades of grey and blue. Eventually, I decided to combine navy, black, and beige, which together created an interesting effect. I dry-brushed the gears and the clock fragment with the selected colors to achieve a slightly aged look and emphasize their texture.
Before attaching all the decorative pieces, I lightly brushed the board with beige paint and vintage paste, which gave the entire composition a cohesive character and brought out the details.
