Październik to doskonały moment, aby zacząć tworzyć świąteczne projekty, dlatego postanowiłam wczuć się w ten magiczny klimat. Wybór grafiki był dla mnie oczywisty – bałwanki z arkusza Boże Narodzenie 038 idealnie pasowały do mojej altanki hdf.
Zaczęłam od pomalowania bazy hdf białym gesso, a potem przykleiłam wybrane motywy. Nad nakładką altanki pracowałam troszkę dłużej, malując ją na przemian czerwoną i zieloną farbą, a następnie przecierając białym akcentem dla uzyskania delikatnego efektu. Drobne elementy hdf ozdobiłam białą farbą i posypałam brokatem, by dodać im świątecznego blasku. Na koniec całość została oprószona śniegiem, co dopełniło zimowej atmosfery.

October is the perfect time to start creating Christmas projects, so I decided to get into the festive spirit. The choice of graphics was obvious to me – the snowmen from the Christmas 038 sheet were a perfect fit for my hdf gazebo.
I started by painting the hdf base with white gesso, and then I glued on the selected motifs. I spent a bit more time working on the gazebo overlay, painting it alternately with red and green paint, then gently distressing it with white for a subtle effect. I decorated the small hdf elements with white paint and sprinkled them with glitter to give them a festive sparkle. Finally, the whole piece was dusted with snow, completing the wintery look.
