W świecie magii” / “In the world of magic

Dzisiaj trochę magii... Przedstawiam Wam ramkę inspirowaną książkami z serii "Harry Potter". Użyłam bazy - koła oraz dekorów HDF Artistiko (gwiazdka i kluczyk).
Wszystkie elementy - bazę, dekory i odlewy z żywicy - pomalowałam gesso i białą farbą akrylową. Ramka miała być czarna z delikatnymi refleksami w różnych kolorach - głównie białym i odcieniach brązu. Na ramce, w wyznaczonych miejscach, przykleiłam wydruk laserowy - grafiki pasujące do tematyki mojej pracy. Następnie przykleiłam wszystkie dodatki, pomalowane już wcześniej farbami arylowymi. Z tyłu odbiłam szablon. Całość mocno pobieliłam, pochlapałam farbami i zabezpieczyłam matowym lakierem. Pracę przetarłam też złotym i miedzianym woskiem.

Hi,
Today, a little magic... I'm showing you a frame inspired by the "Harry Potter" books. I used an HDF base – a circle – and Artistiko decors (a star and a key).
I painted all the elements – the base, the decors and the resin casts – with gesso and white acrylic paint. The frame was to be black with subtle highlights in various colors – mainly white and shades of brown. I glued laser prints of graphics matching the theme of my work to the frame in the designated areas. Then I adhered all the accessories, previously painted with acrylic paints. I stamped the stencil on the back. I whitened the whole work, splashed it with paint, and sealed it with matte varnish. I also rubbed the work with gold and copper wax.
