Witajcie.
Przychodzę dziś do Was z zardzewiałym, steampunkowym projektem.
Kto mnie choć trochę zna, wie, że uwielbiam efekt rdzy. Próbowałam już szeregu różnych sposobów uzyskania tego efektu i stwierdzam, że wykorzystanie proszku metalicznego i odczynników należy do moich ulubionych. Przyznać muszę, że jest to trochę czasochłonny proces ale na prawdziwą rdzę warto poczekać
Jak zawsze zaczynam od zagruntowania wszystkich HDF-ek, tekturek i odlewów. Następnie bazę obklejam papierem scrapowym i maluję bezbarwnym gesso, gdyż planuję używać jeszcze mediów.
Górną warstwę pokrywam pastą pękającą, a jak wyschnie maluję liquide acrylic – oczywiście burnt sienna (kocham ten odcień brązu).
Wszystkie dodatki (tekturki, odlewy, łańcuch) maluję farbą akrylową a następnie, jeszcze mokrą powierzchnię, posypuję proszkiem metalicznym. Po wysuszeniu polewam odczynnikiami i ….. czekam na efekt, który za każdym razem jest inny.

I come to you today with a rusty, steampunk project.
Anyone who knows me even a little knows that I love the rust effect. I have already tried a number of different ways to achieve this effect and I find that the use of metallic powder and reagents is one of my favorites. I must admit that this is a bit time-consuming process but it is worth waiting for real rust.
As always, I start with priming all HDFs, cardboards and castings. Then I cover the base with scrap paper and paint with colorless gesso, because I plan to use more media.
I cover the top layer with cracking paste, and when it dries I paint liquide acrylic - of course burnt sienna (I love this shade of brown).
I paint all the accessories (cardboard, castings, chain) with acrylic paint and then sprinkle the still wet surface with metallic powder. After drying, I pour reagents and ..... wait for the effect, which is different each time.
