Postarzana bombka / Antiqued bauble

Już na dobre rozkręcił się sezon przygotowań do Świąt. W sklepie Artistiko pojawiły się cudne bombki z ramką. Postanowiłam użyć świątecznych papierów, które idealnie pasują w rozmiar średni.

The season of Christmas preparations is in full swing. Wonderful baubles with a frame appeared in the Artistiko store. I decided to use holiday papers that perfectly match the medium size.
I decided to use mistletoe-shaped decorations. I painted them with white gesso and then with DailyArt dark green paint.
Aby ostatecznie wykończyć pracę postanowiłam powtórzyć motyw druku, który jest widoczny na papierze, za pomocą stempla. Dodałam nieco ciemniejszego niebieskiego odcienia gnieniegdzie na ramce (fliud akrylow) oraz brązu (tu użyłam bitum). Całość zabezpieczyłam lakierem używanym wcześniej. Dodałam kokardę z juty i sznurek i voila. Mam nadzieję, że moja bombka Wam się spodoba.
To finally finish the job, I decided to repeat the print motive, which is visible on the paper, using a stamp. I added a slightly darker shade of blue to the frame (fluid acrylic) and bronze (here I used bitumen). I protected everything with varnish used earlier. I added jute bow and twine and voila. I hope you like my bauble.

Bazę pokryłam białym gesso, a następnie pomalowałam powierzchnię pod papier ryżowy białą farbą, a resztę bombki kredówką w kolorze Serene.
I covered the base with a white gesso, and then painted the surface for rice paper with white chalky paint, and the rest of the baubles with a Serene.
Za pomocą kleju przykleiłam papier ryżowy i zabezpieczyłam lakierem.
Ramkę przetarłam dokładnie świeczką a następnie użyłam farb akrylowych i pomalowałam nimi ramkę. Po wyschnięciu przetałam papierem ściernym.
I glued rice paper with glue and secured with varnish.
I rubbed the frame thoroughly with a candle and then I used acrylic paints and painted the frame with them. After drying, I rubbed with sandpaper.
